If the feedback is right, perhaps we can take this to another level. Especially since we know people who have great studios & mastering backgrounds. Hint hint hint.

I’ve tried holding meetings w/ organizations & communicate w/ people who could invest in ART but all I get is silence….or euphemisms…..or ‘keep up the good work’ when I try to meet with them.

It makes me wonder if these organizations and people are just trying to save face in public to seem like they are for ART when they aren’t.

Now, I could name drop & publicize screen shot conversations to expose people who make claims to be advocates for the arts but really are just interested in using artists to turn a profit because I know I could get a reaction out of these organizations & people if I did that but I am a man of honor, luckily for you.

Where are those who are interested in making investments in the careers of artists who own corporate entities? If we are talking talented artists who know the industry & are in it for the long haul, as an investor, wouldn’t you be foolish NOT to support them, especially if they have a track record of having an audience? If you can back an artist with an audience who is talented, your ROI (return on investment) would be quite explosive, contracted or invested on faith.

This is coming from an artist who has a sincere passion to create for the People & who is destined to make a living at ART but since this is a specialty, luxury industry & I am a black man that will not sell out, via selling my soul or being raped in contract form…it’s not that easy to gain funding which is why I can currently self funded but to take things to the next level, obviously you need a boost of capital.

This is just a visual letter on the behalf of all artists who may feel the same way that I feel & a public challenge to all you so called “arts advocates”.

Put your money where your ‘LIKES’ are; find the artists & the youth in your city who are serious about ART & invest in them.

Forge a relationship with them to aid them in their career or create a contract that is negotiable for sponsorship. Not only will you gain a sense of fulfillment but you will also gain a return on investment if the artist knows what they are doing.

Share this, like this & challenge those with the money who have interests in art. If Milwaukee is an ‘art city’…then let’s be an ART CITY otherwise we are lying to our citizens.
